The season in Zermatt lasts exactly 365 days. Skiers and snowboarders are in their element here all year round, where the largest summer ski area in the Alps can be accessed via the highest cable car in Europe. The train ride up to the 3'089 m high Gornergrat also reveals a breathtaking panorama.
Zermatt is also a European favourite in other respects. Here we have the longest peak-to-valley run — between the Klein Matterhorn and the village is 25 km of pure adrenaline.
